Capello in Rio as Russia draw to qualify for World Cup (will he make a better fist of it than he did in 2010?)

Fabio Capello will be at the World Cup finals after his Russia team secured qualification with a 1-1 draw in Azerbaijan.
The Italian, who led England to South Africa in 2010, saw his side take the lead in Baku through Roman Shirokov but Vagif Javadov scored a last-minute equaliser.
However, the Russians held on to top Group F, book their place in Brazil and consign Portugal to the play-offs.

Capello will hope to have a better time of it than he did in 2010, when he led England.
The build-up was marred by the furore over his Capello Index, which rated England players' form and it was not much better on the pitch in South Africa.
Draws against the USA and Algeria was followed by a narrow win over Slovenia as England made the knockout stages but they were humiliated 4-1 by Germany in the last 16.
Capello carried on as manager until last year when he resigned following a disagreement with the FA over John Terry losing the captaincy.
